The North Sound Knitter’s Guild
Owner Sirkku Bingham is among the founding members of the North Sound Knitter’s Guild, a group of enthusiastic knitters who gather to get inspired, learn from each other and talk all things knitting. Their growing community meets every second Monday of the month at the Stanwood Senior Center at 7430 276th St NW, Stanwood, just North of the Stanwood High School. The Great Northwest Glass Quest (February)
Join us on ultimate community treasure hunt! PinchKnitter Yarns is a proud particpant in the annual Great Northwest Glass Quest, a scavenger hunt through shops and community locations throughout the Stanwood Camano area to find clues and hopefully win prizes. Puget Sound Local Yarn Shops Tour – aka LYS Tour (May)
We’re back for our second year taking part in this creative road-trip adventure weekend! Grab your tour passport at any participating shop and hit the road with your needles running. Visitors on the tour have a chance at winning gift certificates at the shop of their choice among other goodies and prizes. Free patterns, discounts and fun are guaranteed! Crochet@Cama Retreat (October)
The crochet community’s ultimate retreat, two years and counting! Crocheters from around the country flock to Cama Beach State Park every October to share their craft and inspiration, learn new skills and make new friends. PinchKnitter Yarns is an enthusiastic sponsor of this amazing retreat, opening our doors for a private reception in the shop every year.
